Hacienda Themed Party
In honor of Fiesta currently going on in Santa Barbara, we are sharing this Hacienda Themed party we produced for UCSB’s Board of Regents. This thirty-five year old Old Spanish Days celebration is a reminder of the Mexican spirit of the town and preservation of the heritage.
I was tickled pink to have been hired to produce this event, because I was born in Mexico City, and celebrated first-hand the folklore of the culture. One philosophy I carry with producing my events, is incorporating the five senses in order to enhance the guest experience.
From the sights and beauty of decor:
Authentic Mexican decor and colorful floral by NLC Productions and colorful linens by La Tavola
(sombreros and daisy’s floating in the pool)
(the view of the Santa Ynez Mountains and Hacienda style home – featured on Architectural Digest – location helped)
The sound of an incredibly talented all female Mariachi band – Mariachi Reyna de Los Angeles
The smell and taste of authentic Mexican Food by Cowboy Flavor which we showcased in a mercado-style custom built buffet.
Down to flan for dessert and a coffee station incorporating the colors and textiles of Mexican ceramics from Classic Party Rentals
Indisputably perfect ingredients for another Felici Event!
