Felici Fanfare - Find out what Zohe and Co. are making a big whoop about!

Graffiti Grunge Celebration

On February 16, Felici Events showcased a vibrant display of neon colors at a graffiti grunge themed bat mitzvah. SOhO Restaurant and Music Club was the perfect venue for this upbeat, energetic celebration.

Upon their arrival, guests were immediately introduced to the fun theme by enormous graffiti banners lining the entryway.

Place cards were creatively displayed to mock an urban brick wall splattered with eye-catching neon graffiti.

As the adults were seated for dinner, they were blown away by the vibrant centerpieces by Juniper Designs. These gorgeous floral arrangements matched the color scheme flawlessly, as did the beautiful linens by La Tavola Fine Linen Rental.

Guests enjoyed the party from the outdoor patio beneath a tasteful covered tent provided by Classic Party Rentals. It featured a spectacle of decorated hanging lanterns and colorful lights, catching the attention of locals passing by the event.

Combined with the infectious enthusiasm of the H2H team, all of these elements contributed to an unforgettably fun and unique event! All photographs were provided by the amazingly talented Kelsey Crews of Kelsey Crews Photo.

Tasty Time at #RinconBeachClub

On the chilly night of February 22, nothing pleased the Felici Events team more than being greeted at Rincon Beach Club by a friendly face and a margarita on the rocks! The tasting event was a night to remember, with an endless supply of exemplary food and an impressive selection of wedding ceremony set ups, and lounge and table settings. Rincon Beach Club never ceases to amaze us and the tasting event was no exception.

These playful beach themed place cards were complete with smooth sand and seashells. They presented other creative options suitable for a wide variety of event themes.

These simple place cards were tied with delicate ribbons and dangled from colorful knobs.

Beyond the entryway was a spacious patio displaying an impressive selection of wedding ceremony set ups, table settings, and lounge spaces.

This wedding ceremony set up embodied a bride’s dream of a fairytale beach wedding. The delicate white and light pink ribbons caught the salty breeze, adding a sweet, dreamlike tone to the setting.

The other option was a simpler approach, detailed with a flowing white curtain secured with large sea stars.

Keeping with the general beach theme, the mason jar flower holders were reminiscent of treasured sea glass. Clear glass candleholders and jars hanging from a mossy piece of driftwood tied the playful table setting together.

The roomier lounge space consisting of luxurious leather couches and ottomans offered a perfect place for party guests to relax in comfort.

The other lounge option featured an inviting space for guests to cuddle next to a cozy fireplace on inviting leather couches.

A range of uniquely themed food stations was placed throughout the room, including Pacific Rim and Hamburger Sliders, among others. Each station was decorated with an extraordinary attention to detail, and exemplified Rincon’s versatility and unmatched ability to adapt to any event’s theme. The Pacific Rim station was adorned with colorful Asian fans, bamboo shoots, and a vibrant silk tablecloth. The food was cooked right in front of us by a friendly chef, and featured an array of exotic food representing the Asian theme. The table settings were equally impressive and flaunted the talents of various local vendors. The table settings ranged from simple to extravagant.

This particular table setting was a tasteful example of a simple, earthy theme, complete with a rusted lantern and worn picture frame.

Inspiration from Toys to Twinkle

Inspiration can come from anywhere.

Tonight I was walking around Downtown Disney with some friends and found this Lego Statue enchanting. Perfect to incorporate into a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, kids party or corporate event theme. I loved Legos growing up, and this sculpture is true art and awes me.

A a few doors down this sparkly store front magnetized me. I love things that glitter. This is perfect inspiration for a Bat Mitzvah, corporate event, wedding, fundraiser or product launch

DIY Halloween Decor That Won’t Break The Bank

Halloween is all about decoration.  We decorate our homes and even ourselves in crazy/sexy/funny/scary costumes!  As much fun as it is to get into the Halloween spirit, the cost of decorating can quickly add up.  Thankfully, Felici Events is always looking for fun DIY projects and we’ve come to the rescue with some fun Halloween ideas that won’t leave cobwebs in your wallet!  Not only does DIY get you more into the festive spirit, but your creations will often turn out more creative than anything you could buy in a store!

Heart Attack Voodoo Dolls:

A little cloth can go a long way.  Double over some fabric and cut it out in a doll-like shape.  Stuff cotton between the two and sew the perimeter with yarn.  Add whatever accessories you like.  Can also double as a festive pin cushion!

Grow Monster Specimen Jar:

Remember these from when you were a kid?  Take some vases that may be collecting dust in your basement and fill them with water.  Toss in your grow monsters (which can be purchased at practically any Halloween/dollar store) and line your shelves to give your home a mad-scientist aesthetic.

Print-Your-Own Bottle Labels:

Print out your favorite haunted design templates and cover your normal beverage bottles with novel Halloween labels!  For your gullible guests, you may want to mention that they’re not actually drinking “zombie virus”.

Pumpkin Carving:

Pretty self-explanatory.  Go to your local pumpkin patch and purchase a pumpkin.  Cut out the top of the pumpkin and scoop out the guts.  Save the seeds and toast in the oven to snack on later.  Grab some carving utensils (ie: a knife) and do work!  Insert a candle after you’re done carving to light up your homemade jack-o’-lantern.

Spider Web Balloon:

Begin by filling a balloon with helium.  The webbing inside the balloon is made from a commercial product called HI-FLOAT, a solution made for injecting into helium balloons to make them retain their helium longer.  The web effect is created by applying the HI-FLOAT and letting it dry at a set pressure.  Deflate the balloon, stretch it out, and then re-inflate.  The film will detach from the walls and create a sort of web.  Be sure to toss some plastic spiders in the balloon for the sake of appearance.

Bat O’ Lanterns:

Go to your local pumpkin patch and purchase however many miniature pumpkins.  Spray paint the pumpkins black and draw your own bat wings/ears/eyes.  Cut out and attach to your now-dried mini pumpkin with a hot glue gun.

Ghost Lights:

Time to dig into your box of Christmas lights and pull out a strand of white lights (multicolor lights if you’d like multicolored ghosts).  Simply punch the individual lights through the bottom of a plain white dixie cup and add some googly eyes for show.
